Eva Boland Exercise Physiology and Women’s Health (referred to in the policy as “Eva Boland” “we”, “us”, “our”), complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as stipulated by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.  We take the protection of your personal information seriously, and are committed to ensuring its privacy, accuracy and security.

Personal information includes any information or opinion, whether true or not, about a person who is identified or whose identity can be reasonably established.  Sensitive information includes personal information about an individual’s race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual preferences and practices, trade or professional associations, union memberships, criminal record, health or genetic information or biometric information.

In the course of your visits to our website, clinics, or any use of our services, we may obtain the following information about you: name, email address, telephone number, credit card details, billing address, geographic location, IP address, survey responses, support queries, blog comments, social media handles. We may will also collect medical information including, but not limited to: medical history, doctor referrals, pathology notes, medical imaging results (together ‘Personal Data’). Personally Identifiable Information: We use the information we collect to deliver our services to you, including: communicating with you, notifying you of updates, sharing useful content, measuring customer satisfaction, diagnosing problems and providing you with a personalised website experience and information from time to time about our services.

Marketing communications are only sent to you if you have requested or subscribed to them. You can opt out of our marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us and your request will be actioned immediately.

Personal Data that is no longer required will be destroyed or deleted in accordance with Health Privacy Principle. In many circumstances, however if you consent in writing, it will be kept for marketing purposes. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the data collected, used or disclosed is accurate, complete and up to date, and has been obtained directly from relevant individuals or other reputable sources.

Sharing of Your Personal Information

We do not and will not sell or deal in Personal Data or any customer information. Eva Boland Exercise Physiology and Women's Health will only disclose Personal Data in accordance with the Australian Privacy laws in place at the time. Your Personal Data details are only disclosed to third party suppliers when it is required by law, for goods or services which you have purchased, for payment processing or to protect our copyright, trademarks and other legal rights.
